These gorgeous covers by Anna Segreto and her family are entirely hand-made on the Mediterranean Italian island of Sardinia using ancient textile traditions. Anna cultivated her passion for weaving from her great-grandmother learning the age-old loom techniques unique to the region. The raised weaving is a unique type of stitched relief called Pibiones, which in Sardinian dialect means “grape berries”. The small berry-like rings of yarn create the raised pattern.
Our high quality Sardinian cushions are created by expert weavers using traditional textile techniques. These beautiful coverings complement both classic and modern settings - a precious addition to any home!
